Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist in the World Bank’s Water Global Practice with more than 20 years’ experience in water financing operations. Before joining the Bank, Patricia worked with several consulting firms and investment banks on project and corporate finance operations in different sectors, with a focus on private sector participation in public services and infrastructure.  Within the Bank, she has worked as sector specialist from HQ and from different country offices leading complex client engagements including Bank operations, analytical work and policy dialogue, in Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe.  From 2016-2019 Patricia served as Program Manager for the Danube Water Program in Vienna, Austria.  Since 2020 she has been part of the core leadership of the Financial Innovation Team (FIT) from where she has been promoting the use of private sector solutions and private capital mobilization closely with the IFC and others.  Her experience includes preparing and managing the implementation of a varied range of sector reform and infrastructure development projects with a focus on sector financing and institutional areas. Patricia holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business with a two-year specialization in Financing from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (C.U.N.E.F) , Madrid, Spain.
